With Rock On Mr. Kennedy gives the reader an insiders peek to his rapid ascension to middle management during the downward spiral of the corporate music industry. This book humorously walks the halls with rock and roll icon's and mangers mistaken for band members. Kennedy at the table of large board meetings, wonder if he has overplayed his hand and will be discovered as the fraud he perceives himself to be. He also desperately seeks the approval of a famous rapper in hopes of fitting in with his crew.
The book is full of familiar Artist ( none of which are painted in a too bad light) and Executive "Characters" who's wants, needs, and request would seem ludicrous to a reasonable person has not spent the last 30 years getting paid 7 figure income and feeding off the ideas and essence of the "below the line people".
If you have had a job, you will find humor in this book. If you have had a job in the music industry you will find this book hysterical. And if you actually know some of the characters in this book like I do, you will find new nicknames for your friends.
