This is what I’m talking about. This is the kind of fan engagement that I’m always looking for. The girl in this video who “happened” to know the 10 minute opus that is “Jesus of Suburbia” and gets pulled on stage will remember this forEVER. I get chills just thinking about what her friends must have been thinking when she was up there. And although she held her shit together through the entire song, I imagine she was completely blacked out during the performance.
I hope they gave her that guitar after the show!
Does any one know that girls name?

Live: Mark Ronson & the Business INTL @ Williamsburg Music Hall
Mr. Ronson did kill it last night with the Business Intl in tow. With a stage set up that Depeche Mode would have been comfortable behind cica 84, including Simmons drums pads for all! I have to give it to M.R. for having a touring band consisting of so many talented artist in their own right. I have been anxiously awaiting MNDR’s full LP. Spank Rock handled most of the rhymes for the evening. It was a little disconcerting hearing Q-tip’s rap word for word out of Naeem but whatever he owned every other song he performed. Alex Greenwald who is on the last two Ronson Albums handled most of the evening vocals which fit nicely. I didn’t miss Kyle Falconer on Bicycle Song too much. I could have done without Greewald/ Ronson take of the Phantom Planet tent pole “California” but it was well received so they know who their audience.
Ronson keep the music tight and the energy up. He keep shouting out Brooklyn, and the crowd showed him the love back.
