DidYouHearThat: Weezer “Heart Songs”

Tony Soprano once said ” Remember when- is the lowest form of conversation.” Well… we think it’s the lowest form of song writting also.

Rivers Cuomo and crew show their age and their lack of inspiration on this new song Heart Songs from the upcoming Red Album. Which seems to be nothing more than a laundry list of inspried – by acts ( Rick Astley, Terrance Trent D’arby…really? ) in hopes that you the listener will relate to one of the bands you adored in your youth ( all those years ago).

The production is pedestrian at best. And Rivers you did’nt even name check the Cars. Where is Rick Ocasek to save you now?
