I did not want to like this. And I don’t. I did not want to listen to this. However I am pleasantly surprised and I will tell you why. This is just some straight forward lite rock/starbucks pop. With that said. I put the cd in and have listened to 4 songs without turning it off yet. The only reason I put it in is because I thought the single “Pictures Of You ” was a cover ( I love good covers) of the Cure track. It is not. Point being is there in no avoiding this genre of music very mainstream very lowest common denominator. It will be on the Z100, it will be in Broadcast TV ( Brothers and Sisters) and it will be in my mailbox. However this is 1000 times better than a couple of other falsetto-singing-weak-song-writing-over-produced-over-staturated-label-mates of the Last Goodnight. I am going to say it 1st. You are going to hear a great deal of this act. And Single after Single will brought to every mobile device that has not been invented yet.
Bonus: There’s a black guy in the band. I just hope he does not play drums or bass because that would be a horrible cliche.
