Better than NYC’s Cash Cab? Maybe not as lucrative, but most certainly an
intimate gig, tailor made for Internet viewing. The Black Cab Sessions.
Cameraman, soundman and artist (or bits of a band) hail a London taxi -
often on the way to, or from, a gig. With the permission of the driver, a
mini concert of […]
Santogold Answers My Question
Kind of… In an earlier santi post we wondered out loud why LES/Brooklyn hipster poster girl would work with Ashlee Simpson. All do respect to both parties but how the f**k did that happen? In an interview with Popjustice.com Santi kinda explains herself and surprise surprise, her reasons are the same as mine for […]
New CSS Song and Widget
I wanted to get something from the ladies of CSS, but this is nice too.
I enjoyed this. This seems like this is what this band is SUPPOSED to do. I’m looking forward to the new LP
Although I don’t play keyboards for this band any longer, Black Shakespeare will give San Francisco a taste of the real. Search no further for the construct. Joe Brilliant I am looking at you!

Drunks hitting pans with their dicks. PAUL FORD at The Morning News takes
one for the team. While I don’t know exactly how his habit of 6 word
‘twittering” (now a verb apparently) aides humanity, Mr. Ford has taken the
HUGE trouble of listening to 48 continuous hours of music from 763 of the
acts appearing this […]
The Myspace Music Tour featuring Justice, Chromeo and DJ Mhendi was purely awesome. At first when my friend, Carol and I walked into the event I was skeptical, because it was in the overpopulated Madison Square Garden, however the WaMu theater is a rather cute and quaint space.
Congratulations Santogold is Brooklyn’s Bjork,( kinda like I am the black Brad Pitt). Santogold has decided she is going to be an artist and not just a charicature of an brooklyn indie princess. This video ( directed by who? ) clearly shows she is going to push the enevelop of what is acceptable for […]
