Did anyone else notice Lucas McFadden (a.k.a Cut Chemist) as the Chemistry teacher in the movie Juno? I just saw it this weekend. With all the indie folk in that movie ( which is rapidly changing my opinion of the genre) could not the soundtrack offer one Brainfreeze/Hardsell track? Could they not have forced in one party scene? Speaking of which does anyone have pictures of this weekends Irving Plaza shows? Post them suckers!

Much better than the sum of it’s two parts Cut Chemist and DJ Shadow join forces to spin an all 45 jam session with old soul and rare grooves. These guys do it for real and the 1st Brainfreeze record has to be a road map for GirlTalk. The difference being its all dj’ing no Ableton or Serato or whatever the kids are using these days.

These guys have skills.
