boobs and dongs) to go along with their new single “Toe Jam.” I think the
idea of Fat Boy Slim and David Byrne working together is genius. The
youngs should learn from the olds whenever possible. And there are much,
MUCH worse collaborations out there, as evidenced by this top ten worst
duets ever that I’ve put together below. Even worse is that everyone knows

Another country heard from in the long list of Justice D.A.N.C.E. remixes. This video from last summer’s 100 Miles And Running mixtape from Fools Gold’s DJ Nick Catchdubs. Wale is coming from D.C by way of Mark Ronson’s AllIdo by way of Interscope records. And we know sometimes Interscope doesn’t always handle hip hop well.

Congratulations Santogold is Brooklyn’s Bjork,( kinda like I am the black Brad Pitt). Santogold has decided she is going to be an artist and not just a charicature of an brooklyn indie princess. This video ( directed by who? ) clearly shows she is going to push the enevelop of what is acceptable for women in hip hop to be portray as. Horse? Check. Uniformed sycronzied dancers? Check. Post apocolyptic smoke? oh yeah. And more vibrant crayola colored explosions, throw up, squibs and disembowlments than you can ask for in a 3 minute video!!! It’s kind of like the video I wish I made when I was 15 instead of spendng all my money on dime bags.

When the f**k did this happen? Kanye, Lupe, and Pharrell on a track? Oh and why not slip in the omnipotent Thom Yorke on the hook! Then drop a video with Jr. High representations of all of em, directed by L.E.S hottie Va$htie. DAMN. All of this makes me really reconsider what the end result of the Glow In The Dark Tour will be. What I like about this already is that it is not all over the radar.

Current TV does that All Eyez thing that they do so well again with My Morning Jacket. It’s a video shot at Lollapalooza 2007 for the song ” Gideon” shot by the audience. ( User Generated Content- Get it?) . It would have been cool to see a this with a song from the new record alas this was shot last year. Nice touch adding kids playing the strings.

THE VIDEO WAS SABOTAGED FOR WHATEVER REASON AND IM DISAPPOINTED THAT MTV HAS HAD SUCH A MAJOR ROLE IN THIS. THE BLOGGERS WHO ARE LAZY ENOUGH TO FOLLOW THE MTV LINK AND POST UP AND COMMENT ON THE SOUND WHEN THAT HASNT BEEN COMPROMISED AND THE GUNSHOT ARENT REPLACED AND EDITED MAKES ME SAD. I DID FIGHT FOR THE SOUND , BECAUSE PUTTING MEANINGS IN YOUR VIDEOS, IN MY OPINION IS A DYING ART.
