Talib Kweli Lauches Blacksmith TV with a tour through his ( and my ) Brooklyn. Hitting up spots like Joloff Resturant and talking to his people about whats going on in his neighborhood. Kweli knows there a great deal going on in Ft Greene and Clinton Hill so there should be no shortage of entertainment and information over this 10 episode series.

Check out about 5:10 in to episode one where Talib is confronted with the neighborhood’s gentrification “issue”. Hats off to him as he does try to maintain being polite the entire time. All the edits make me wonder how much of this interaction may have been staged. Not that I doubt “Rufus’s” sincerity, he may just be an amalgamation of “Noobies”.
